Changes At Neways, Opportunity For SISEL
2006.12.04Tom Mower Jr. and Darick have already left Neways to become the CEO and President of SISEL.
Tom Sr. and his sons now have tens, if not, hundreds of millions of dollars to start SISEL from the sale of Neways. They already have a $25 million manufacturing plant tooling up for the new SISEL products.
Meanwhile Neways distributors are excited and concerned at the prospect of Neways making their compensation plan global to keep up with the new plan being created by SISEL. Because SISEL is a new company they can design their compensation plan as a global-internationally integrated plan from the beginning. There’s no need to “tweak” or “fix” the plan and risk upsetting distributors.
Other Neways distributors have expressed concern about Tom’s integrity in starting a company to compete with Neways.
As for integrity toward the Neways distributors maybe Tom IS looking out for their best interests. Maybe he feels that Neways has gotten off course or is not progressing like it should. What should he do?
Should he go quietly into retirement and let Neways distributors fare as they can? Or should he “right the wrongs” as he sees them and build a company that will give everyone a fresh start and an opportunity to everyone globally start at the top?
If you don’t think Neways can stand on it’s own against competition from ANYONE, you are already second-guessing Neways. If Tom sees the Neways distributors he cares for stuck in a less-than-ideal opportunity or in a bad situation shouldn’t he do what he can to help them?
The Neways era is over for Tom. But he still wants to help people build wealth. So he is creating SISEL to provide the opportunity, products and tools that he feels are missing in Neways (and any other company).
Is Neways going to improve and grow? Probably. The question Neways distributors have to ask themselves is, “Am I comfortable where I am in my Neways business and in the direction the company is heading?”
If so, great, keep going! I wish you success.
But the questions everyone should consider are, “Would I like to have been in on the very start of Neways?” And, “Is SISEL going to be as successful as Neways?”
I don’t know much about the start of Neways, but I doubt Tom had hundreds of millions of dollars to start it. I doubt Tom had 20+ years experience in network marketing. I doubt Tom had thousands and thousands of contacts in the industry. I doubt Tom had 5+ years worth of new product ideas stored up.
Now, starting SISEL, he has all that plus he has his two experienced sons to run the new company.
Will Tom and SISEL succeed? Who knows. But with all he has going for him my bet is on SISEL.
When I look at the timing and whether or not I should get involved in SISEL now I think, “I can afford to be wrong, but I can’t afford not to be right.”
